

It was great getting to see her go from a rigid, single-mined, drone to a soft but still strong and independent person. I loved her internal struggle throughout the book am I too much monster to be human or an I too human to truly be a monster? Her growth was amazing and I hope it continues on in the next book. It did still have a kickass main female character. I have been reading a lot of fae-centric stories so this was a nice break. The first thing I will say is that I loved this storyline! It was so unique and different.
